Connecting Rod

A rod that connects the piston and the crankshaft. It must be able to withstand a large amount of force. It may be referred to as a “conrod” for short. As it is exposed to high amounts of pressure through the rotation of the engine, light weight and high strength properties are required for optimal performance. It is one of the most important parts in an engine.
